They ultimately finished their work by adding wonderful linear details using oil pastels.

1st Grade Complementary Leaves
Upon creating these colorful leaf paintings, the 1st grade students studied artwork created by the famous contemporary artist, Andy Warhol. The students were inspired by the bright palette and repeated images which Warhol commonly thread throughout many of his prints.
