Third Grade works in progress..

I wasso impressed by the hard work and dedication the third graders are putting into this project, I wanted to share a few works in progress. The students created proportionally accurate contour drawings by applying the artist Chuck Close's gridding technique. Next, they learned how to render value in pen using stippling, hatching and cross-hatching techniques and later applied these to their contour drawings. I am thrilled to see how the rest of these turn out.
