The second graders created these beautiful jungle scenes after study the whimsical paintings created by Frenmch Post-Impressionist Henri Rousseau. In these paintings, the second graders made sure to mix every single color that touched their paper, to create unique and original palettes. Amazing work!

I loved seeing all of these jungle paintings on display during the art show. What an impact! And people still comment on my daughter's impressionist flower painting from last winter. I am so pleased with Ms. Leggitt's art program!
