2nd Grade Wild Things
After reading the book "Where the Wild Things Are," the 2nd grade students explored the artwork of Maurice Sendak. They analyzed his illustrations, observing how he used pattern and technical details to create his whimsical creatures. They also examined the mediums used in his work, hypothesizing why he chose given materials to attain specific outcomes.
